AVAILABLE POSITION: SHOWROOM ASSISTANT

 

OVERVIEW OF POSITION:

We are looking for a candidate to assist with the day to day running of the showroom with the primary responsibilities of consulting clients and taking them through the entire process. This is very much an administrative front of house sales position.The candidates will learn about the upholstery and interior industry as a whole in a very practical way. The candidate must have excellent people skills and have an entrepreneurial spirit as we are looking to build a long term relationship.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Showroom / Clients:

  • Dealing with clients
  • Identifying clients needs and give advice on selecting appropriate fabric
  • Advise on upholstery and interior
  • Take clients through entire sales process
  • Deal with suppliers - follow up on stock / receiving of stock
  • All administration pertaining to clients order from consultation, preparing quotations and follow ups.
  • Day to Day running of the showroom
  • Assist with quality checks
  • Take photos of items coming in and going out
     

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must have a valid Matric
  • Must have a keen interest,  be proactive and  hands on, and  have attention to detail
  • Must be computer literate
  • Speak both English and Afrikaans
